Meet Zoey McAskil


Zoey McAskil, a skilled physiotherapist, brings a wealth of knowledge to our clinic with her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy from Curtin University and a double degree in Sports Science and Exercise and Health Science from the University of Western Australia. Zoey specializes in sports and musculoskeletal physiotherapy, excelling in managing and preventing injuries. She is passionate about establishing strong connections with her patients to help them achieve their health goals. Outside the clinic, Zoey enjoys exploring the coastline, camping, and maintaining an active lifestyle.


Welcome Callum Cook



We are pleased to introduce Callum Cook as our Senior Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist. Callum brings his extensive experience working with elite athletes, including stints with WA Cricket’s WBBL Scorchers and the WA Women’s Team. He is pursuing a Master of Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy and is particularly interested in ACL rehabilitation, shoulder rehabilitation, acute muscle injuries, athletic development, and strengthening. Passionate about supporting athletes across various sports to reach their peak performance, Callum also finds time to stay active with sports, running, enjoying leisurely coffee, and swimming at the beach.



Introducing Mihajlo “Milo” Micovic



Join us in welcoming Milo Micovic this September, a seasoned professional in sports physiotherapy with international experience from Brisbane, San Francisco, and Bangkok. Most notably, Milo managed the High-Performance Department at BG Pathum United in Bangkok before leading as Head of Rehabilitation and Reconditioning for the Brisbane Roar Men’s A-League campaign. Milo is committed to crafting personalized rehabilitation plans that address immediate and long-term goals, specialising in lower limb sporting injuries, football-specific, and ACL rehabilitation. Outside work, Milo enjoys golfing (while claiming scores under 100), perfecting his latte art, and searching for the best eggs benedict in town.

James Cumming

James is our director of physiotherapy and remedial massage here at Spine & Sports Centre. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from Curtin University, with further studies in Brisbane treating complex cases of headache, neck, and TMJ (jaw) disorders.
