Privacy Policy

At Spine & Sports Centre, your privacy is confidential and retained with the utmost care.

Our privacy statement provides information about the personal information that Spine & Sports Centre collects and how we use this data. 

Our clinic doesn't retain personal or communication information about you unless you have chosen to receive service at Spine & Sports Centre. All information is collected and maintained with great diligence, using secure servers, complying with all current State and Federal privacy legislation.

For care at our clinic, we will ask you to volunteer personal details so that we can identify your specific needs, allocate appropriate appointments and communicate effectively with you regarding your care. We may also correspond with you via telephone, email, SMS or mail.

A proportion of our patients come via referral from medical or health practitioners. As such, it is standard practice to correspond with your medical practitioner where appropriate, which is only done with your express permission and only between accredited professionals. These professionals require a minimum set of information to identify individual patients accurately, particularly: patient name, date of birth and address. Reports to a Third Party, such as an insurer or lawyer, are only provided upon receipt of a Release of Information Document, signed by you. 

All staff members adhere to a strict confidentiality protocol that extends within and beyond their time of employment with Spine & Sports Centre.

Cancellation Policy

We respect that your time is valuable and appreciate you understand ours is too. 

It is a requirement that patients provide at least 24 hours notice before the scheduled appointment to cancel or reschedule.

We understand that, at times, urgent issues arise but letting us know early allows us to offer our services to patients on our waiting list or those needing urgent care.

Missed appointments or cancellations without a minimum of 24-hrs notice will incur the full cost of the scheduled appointment. Provided more than 24 hours notice was given, or the cancellation was due to unexpected illness or compassionate reasons, there will be no cancellation fee.
