We imagined a clinic where passionate practitioners could work together to help people get better.
So, we built it.
Our Story
Emily & Mason Bazeley
We met in 2007 during our first week of University. After graduating, we went on to work at separate clinics with dedicated mentors. Their devotion to patients and their wellbeing inspired us.
We imagined a place where enthusiastic practitioners from various disciplines could work as a team for optimal patient care. A vision we could build, together.
Prompted by the arrival of our firstborn, in July 2017, ten years after meeting, we established Spine & Sports Centre in East Perth.
Our Family Practice
We established our practice in partnership with Emily’s brother James Cumming, Physiotherapist and since then, the team has grown.
With the addition of Johan Steenkamp, Podiatrist, our family-owned and operated clinic in the heart of East Perth combines four different allied health professions dedicated to providing friendly and comprehensive care.
Our Move
March of 2022, our clinic relocated to Wickham Street in East Perth. The centre is a modern fit-out over the old East Perth licensing centre and is directly across the road from the New Perth Girls School Development site.
Our vision of having a dedicated clinic for devoted clinicians to help people collaboratively was coming true.
Our Friends
We’ve made terrific friends along the way and are proud of our club sports partnerships. As part of our charter, our clinic seeks to be a proactive and responsible collective and community member.
Our goal is to help raise awareness of the uncountable benefits of community health, fitness, and well-being through sporting and physical activities and programs. Spine & Sports East Perth is achieving this, one team at a time, through our club sports partnership program.
Our Passion
It makes us happy to help, and by working together, our practitioners can help with a broad range of musculoskeletal issues and sporting injuries. We create effective treatment strategies to facilitate recovery and restore mobility.
We will always emphasise an active recovery approach to spine and sports injuries. That’s why…
