Nicole Gunzburg

BScPhysio.

Nicole brings over a decade of experience in sports and musculoskeletal care to Spine & Sports Centre, supported by qualifications in Sport & Exercise Science, Remedial Massage, and Physiotherapy.

She began her career working in elite sport as a Sports Trainer and Remedial Therapist before completing her physiotherapy degree, which allowed her to combine hands-on manual therapy with evidence-based rehabilitation and performance programming.

  • Nicole has worked within high-performance environments including the Sydney Swans, Sydney Blue Sox, and multiple NRL and A-League programs. She is also actively involved with Baseball Australia and Softball Australia junior national squads.

    With a strong background as both an athlete and clinician, Nicole has a particular interest in overhead and rotational sports. She focuses on complex movement analysis, helping patients bridge the gap between injury recovery and long-term performance.

    Her clinical approach combines detailed biomechanical assessment with structured rehabilitation, aiming to restore function, reduce reinjury risk, and optimise performance.

    Clinical interests:

    * Acute sports injuries

    * Upper limb & shoulder injuries

    * Overhead & rotational athletes

    * Athletic testing & performance programming

    * Neck pain

    * Post-operative rehabilitation

    Outside the clinic, Nicole enjoys watching live sport, swimming at the beach, and discovering good coffee around Perth.
