Telehealth Physiotherapy Consultations

Telehealth Physiotherapy

To our patients,

At Spine & Sports East Perth, we want our community to stay activehealthy and safe during these times.

To assist with growing community needs, we offer Physiotherapy consults via Telehealth.

What is Telehealth?

You might have heard the term 'telehealth' thrown around lately. It is a video consult readily available using your computer or smartphone. (Yes, this does mean you can participate in your comfy pants in the calm of your home).

 Telehealth consults are for:

  • Injury assessment and management.

  • Home workstation ergonomic assessment.

  • Individualised exercise and rehabilitation programs.

  • Pelvic Floor Muscle rehabilitation.

  • Jaw pain assessment and management.

Technical assistance

Our practitioners can help those not too tech-savvy or up to scratch with their computer or smartphone with easy instructions over the phone to get you started.

Price

  • Initial Consultations $125.00 (40-60 minutes)

  • Follow-up Consultations $94.40 (20-30 minutes)

Private health benefits

All major private health funds now provide benefits for individual physiotherapy teleconsultations where:

Health fund members should check with their private insurers for cover as rates vary for telehealth consultations.

Telehealth consultations are still accessible for those uninsured. They are also covered by the Health Department's CDM (Chronic Disease Management - formerly Enhanced Primary Care or EPC), which entitles Australian Citizens to 5 subsidised appointments with Allied Health professionals. Talk (or Telehealth) with your GP for more information on CDM.

If you would like to talk to us about continuing your treatment through Telehealth, please call us on 08 9221 8458 or contact us via email.

We want to ensure our patients are taking care of their health and wellbeing at this time.
